We are loving, friendly, heart warmers, looking for that special home.
We may be a bit shy, or prefer to be by ourselves, but we will thrive in the right home.

Bourbon | Age: 2 - 3 yrs | SEX: Male | BREED: | Adopt me | | | Notes: A little shy | Bourbon looks a bit like a Maine Coon with long, silky fur and a bit of a ruff. He's neutered and about 3 years old.
He came to The Cat House from a domestic violence situation. He is still very skittish around people, but is improving and waiting to have a human to be friends with.

Cricket is a small, but quite spunky, black DSH adult girl. She will fill your life with wonder and love.
She's probably one of the most intelligent and curious cats who has ever spent time with us. She wants to know about everything.
Cricket gets along quite well with other cats and absolutely loves to play. She is ready for a home to call her own!

A very beautiful girl! While she is very shy about being touched, she always wants to be around people. She loves other cats (unless they are big bullies) and came from a rescue situation with many other cats.
Mia gave birth the day after the "rescue", and was a great mom, but had no problem sharing the comforting duties with her pal, Daisy, who she was rescued with.
She is, and always has been, very healthy. She has no special health needs, but she will require a home that is OK with a kitty that is very shy and probably will never be a lap cat. If your household has other laid-back pets, she'd likely bond with them quickly.
Since we don't know her history prior to rescue, it's hard to say why she's timid of people. But she seems to like human company as well as the company of other pets. She is spayed, tested negative for Feline Leukemia and is up-to-date on all her shots. She is healthy, has all her claws, uses the litterbox and is past the age where it would be acceptable to declaw her. She's looking for a forever home who will accept her as she is.
