| Daisy |
Daisy (SSC04) - Spayed Brown Tabby Female. Daisy
is a real sweetie. She is gentle and very affectionate. She likes other
cats and makes friends with newcomers easily after briefly playing
"shy". She was "Aunt
Daisy" to Mia's babies - Koko, Yum Yum and Rowdy - when Mia was
getting a bit tired of them. She even let them "comfort" nurse as much as they wanted.
For a picture of "Aunt Daisy" with Rowdy, click here.
Daisy does have Stomatitis, which may require some ongoing treatment. For
more details on Daisy's stomatitis treatment, click here.
Daisy tested negative for FeLV in two tests, 90
days apart. She is current on her vaccinations and all her claws are
intact. She loves to play, rub up against you, climb on your lap and look
into your eyes. |

| Mia |
Mia (#) - Mia is a petite ebony tabby with a
gorgeous classic tabby pattern. Almost a perfect "bullseye"
marking on one side. She is the mother of Koko, Rowdy and Yum Yum, though
probably not more than 18 months old herself. She is shy around people, in
that she doesn't want you to pick her up, but she likes to be out and
around people. She loves other cats and once in a home will likely warm up
to the people who are around her often. She will never be the type of cat
to greet company at the door, but will be a wonderful companion for other
kitties and in a quiet home, may well become a very friendly cat. She does
like to be petted once she is very comfortable with you. Additional
pictures of Mia can be seen here. |

| Macey |
Macey
(SSC12) - Macey is a very
pretty little mackerel tabby with white. She was shy at first, but now
that she knows us, she comes out and rubs on your legs and loves to be
petted. She gets along with other kitties just fine, and really is a
sweetheart. She is healthy and playful. She is not a cat that likes to be
picked up and carried around in your arms, but she loves to rub up against
you and sit right beside you. More pictures will be available soon. She is spayed, is current on vaccinations, and has
tested negative for FeLV in two separate tests 90 days apart. |
|
| Tori |
Tori
(SSC38) - A very pretty patch tabby, that was
very pregnant when she came in. She's a little shy, but now falls all over
herself when you pet her. She
had 4 kittens; 3 boys and a girl, who have all been adopted. She doesn't
miss being a mom, as she loves to play and loves hanging around with the
other "girls". She is spayed, has all her claws intact and is
current on her shots. She has
tested negative for FeLV in two separate tests 90 days apart. For another
picture of Tori, click here. |

| Simba |
Simba
(SSC53) is going to be one of our
"before" and "after" poster cats! This is his AFTER
picture. To see what he looked like when he first came to us, click here.
Simba is just the coolest guy. He knows how to
manipulate and is now the "office" cat, and has free run of the
whole place... He can be a bit cantankerous, if too many newcomers
invade his space, but everyone at the shelter has fallen in love with him.
We guess his age to be around 14 years old. He is neutered and current on vaccinations, and is
currently receiving a somewhat long-term course of antibiotics based on
the results of his "Senior" Vet Exam. Click here
to see Simba flirting with a volunteer. |

| Zeffie |
Zeffie
(SSC75) - Zeffie is an absolutely gorgeous calico! She was shy at first,
but you wouldn't know that anymore! She comes right out for attention when
the volunteers come in to clean and feed. She seems to really like other
kitties. So much so, if they don't reciprocate her affection, she's been
known to "bop" them on the nose to get their attention. She is healthy and
loves to play. She is spayed, is current on vaccinations, and has
tested negative for FeLV in two separate tests 90 days apart. For a
picture of Zeffie's beautiful coat, click here. |
|
| Magnet |
Magnet
(SSC42) - Spayed Patch Tabby Female. Magnet got her name because she loves to climb
all over you, and doesn't want to leave. When she first arrived, she was
so starved for attention, when you picked her up, she would get a bit growly when you
tried to put
her down. Never bites or gets aggressive, though - just complains. Magnet
is a slender cat. She has stomatitis, which makes her mouth hurt a bit,
and may have made it hard for her to eat at the South Street home, resulting in an
original weight of
a mere 4.5 lbs. However, she has put on several pounds since her arrival!
For more details on Magnet's stomatitis treatment, click here.
Magnet is spayed, current on vaccinations and
tested negative for FeLV in two tests 90 days apart. She is spunky, very
playful, and holds her own around other cats. |
|
| Bernadette |
Bernadette
(SSC55) is a little miffed
at Simba - SHE wanted to be the office cat! Bernie is a very friendly
brown classic tabby with a great coat pattern. She's a gentle girl and
loves to play and climb on people and "make biscuits" and
cuddle. She gets along with other cats, and is gentle enough to be around
children. She is current on her vaccinations, has been spayed, and tested
negative for FeLV in two separate tests 90 days apart. A real sweetie!

| Brownie |
Brownie
(SSC62) - Brown mackerel tabby female. Our
little Brownie certainly has adjusted to her new life! She shares the
"Office Manager" role with Simba, and has taken it upon herself
to run around the place opening all the doors for the other cats to come
out and play! She can get a little bossy, though. She is extremely
affectionate, loves to sit in laps, loves to play - just a wonderful
companion! Click here to see
her as she was when she came in. |
|
| Hannah |
Hannah
(SSCXX) - Hannah is a gorgeous red classic tabby who was very pregnant
when she came to us. She ultimately had 4 red babies - mackerel tabbies
- named Eeny, Meeny, Miney & Mo. Hannah isn't much older than a
kitten herself, and while she is a great mom, she wants to play and climb
in your lap and get all the attention. She has a long, slender muscular
build, as do her kittens. Very friendly, curious and playful, Hannah gets
along with other cats, has been around dogs, and is fine with children who
understand how to handle cats.
As she has been nursing, she is not spayed, but will be prior to adoption,
and will have all her shots updated. She has tested negative for FeLV in
two separate tests 90 days apart. Click here
for a picture of Hannah nursing one of her babies. |
