Cats available for adoption by owner.
These kitties are private adoptions, The Cat House will screen interested adoptors and the information will be passed on to the current owners. Because of our space limitations The Cat House provides this service for a small fee, helping those who have to give up loved pets when we do not have the space to take them.

These cats, just like the ones at The Cat House very much need a place to call home! If you are interested in any of these cats, please complete our Adoption Form and we will be in contact with you.

Cloak
Age: AdultSEX: FemaleBREED: Domestic Shorthair DSHAdopt me
Cloak, and her sister Dagger, were born on a farm in 2004. They grew up in a house with their human parents and two children, and got along wonderfully. Later, their humans brought home a dog, who the cats did not care for. Now the humans are experiencing some big life changes and feel that Cloak and Dagger would be happier living in a home where they can eat up all the attention . . . and where there's not a dog to scare them

Both Cloak and Dagger have been spayed and had their front claws removed. Because they've been together their entire lives, it would be best for the sisters to be adopted together.

Gabby
Age: AdultSEX: FemaleBREED: Domestic Shorthair DSHAdopt me
Gabby had been hit by a car, had a sinus infection and ringworm, and was dehydrated and emaciated when she was found by a kind family that took her in and made sure that she got the vet care that she needed. Gabby is now healthy (although she does not seem to hear well) and is ready to go to her own home. She tolerates dogs, but would do best in a home where she is the only cat. Gabby is estimated to be between two and six years old.
Gracie
Age: AdultSEX: FemaleBREED: Domestic Shorthair DSHAdopt me
Gracie is a very loving calico cat, born in 2007. She can take a while to warm up to you, but your patience will be rewarded - she's very affectionate and loves to be held like a baby (when she isn't playing).

Oliver and Gracie are very bonded and need to find a home together. Their people love them very much, but travel a lot and don't have the time to give them the attention they deserve. Oliver and Gracie would prefer a home with no other cats or dogs.
Oliver
Age: AdultSEX: MaleBREED: Maine CoonAdopt me
Oliver is a Maine Coon mix male, born in 2006. He is VERY LOVING and, as you can see in his picture, not afraid to party from time to time! If you're looking for a cat who likes to be held and cuddle with you on the couch, Oliver is your guy.

Sara Jane
Age: AdultSEX: FemaleBREED: ManxAdopt me
Sara Jane is a cute Manx who is also polydactyl - she has extra toes on all four feet. Because she's been shuffled amongst several homes (through no fault of her own), she's understandably reluctant to be affectionate to casual acquaintances, but once you start to pet her, she'll love you right back. Sara Jane was born in approximately 2005. She would prefer a home without other cats, but she likes dogs, birds and hamsters.
