LISTING YOUR CAT OR KITTEN ON THE CAT HOUSE WEBSITE
To be eligible, you must provide us with:
-
Proof of spay or neuter (for cats and kittens over 6 months).
-
A Vet record showing the cat or kitten is current on rabies and distemper vaccinations (as age appropriate).
-
Have your cat tested for Feline Leukemia Virus and the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FeLV/FIV) and provide us with that documentation.
The cat or kitten must remain indoors, or the test may need to be redone at adoption time.
-
Pay the $10 fee.
When an application comes in for a pet listed via this program, we will do the basic applicant screening,
and then we will pass on candidates that we consider to be potentially qualified. The final determination
of the adopter’s qualifications is up to you, and passing on an application from a potential adopter does
not in any way constitute a recommendation on our part. The Cat House assumes no responsibility for any
future outcome.
Please be aware that the adoption rate through this method is only moderate,
and you will need to be willing to show cats to potential adopters from your home.
While we do the initial screening, the adoption is NOT considered a Cat House adoption, and,
other than the initial listing fee, we do not get any remuneration from any adoption that may result.
