This summer has brought a record number of cats and kittens into our shelter. The need in the community for animal welfare services, in the current economic climate, is staggering! So many wonderful cats and kittens have lost their homes due to their previous family's economic hardships! In addition to the approximately 150 cats we are currently caring for, we have over 75 cats waiting for space to open up so they can be brought into The Cat House. Each cat adopted allows us to bring in another cat; one more cat that doesn't face an uncertain future elsewhere.

Due to the success we've had finding wonderful forever homes for our kitties in June and July, we've decided to continue our discounted adoption rates through August!

• Adopt ANY of our shelter cats for just $50!


• If you adopt a Senior cat (7 years of age or older) or a Special Needs cat, we'll even give you $20 towards their veterinary care*!


• Afraid one cat might be lonely? Adopt a PAIR of cats for $90!

Come visit us at 1935 Q Street and take advantage of this unprecedented adoption spectacular. We are open Sunday for 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm and Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. * When you adopt a Senior or Special Needs cat, after 3 weeks we will send $20 to the veterinarian of your choice to give you a helping hand with vet costs for your furry new friend!
